This privacy policy explains how the Hermes Agent Email Integration ("the Application") handles data when accessing your Gmail account via Google OAuth.

Data We Access

The Application requests the following Gmail API scopes:

• gmail.send — To send emails on your behalf (replies, notifications, automated messages)
• gmail.readonly — To read incoming emails for processing
• gmail.modify — To mark emails as read/replied

How We Use Your Data

The Application uses Gmail access solely for:

• Receiving and processing emails you send to the connected Hermes Agent
• Sending automated replies, notifications, and agent-generated responses
• Managing email threading (marking messages as read, applying labels)

Data Storage

Email content processed by the Application is stored locally on infrastructure you control (your VPS or server). No email data is transmitted to third-party servers. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on your local filesystem.

Data Sharing

The Application does not sell, share, or transfer your email data to any third party. All processing happens within your own infrastructure.

Your Control

You can revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions.
